MATTHEW CAMPBELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Seattle Pride Hockey Association understands and recognizes how cost prohibitive our sport is, and more so, how expensive it can be to attend a hockey tournament. To make the Seattle Pride Classic as inclusive as possible – in 2022, we introduced the Matthew Campbell Memorial Scholarship, to decrease economic barriers to participating and increase the opportunity to play in the Seattle Pride Classic.

Who is Matthew Campbell?

It is our distinct pleasure to invite anyone with a need who wishes to attend and play in the Seattle Pride Classic 2025 to apply for the Matthew Campbell Memorial Scholarship.

  • If selected as a scholarship recipient, you’ll receive information on how to accept your award.

    • If you didn’t register for the tournament, you will be given a registration link to begin the registration process at no cost.

    • If you previously registered for the tournament and are selected as a scholarship recipient, we will refund your registration dues, excluding any apparel, namebar or merchandise purchased. (Note: credit cards may have additional charges or interest fees that will not be refunded).

  • If not selected as a scholarship recipient:

    • If you previously registered for the tournament, then you have already secured your spot, and no action will be necessary.

    • If you did not register for the tournament, you may not have a spot (assuming the tournament is sold out by this point), but we will send information on alternative ways you can still get involved.
